Icebloch creates custom, one-of-a-kind hand dyed apparel in Portland, OR. Their ice dye method yields unique and mesmerizing designs by using ice cubes to melt powdered dyes. Playing off this cool concept, I created a flexible logo system based on everyone’s favorite cold-climate creature: the yeti.

The clean, simple identity was hand drawn to reflect the custom style of each garment—but intentionally meant to not compete with the bold and vibrant ice dyed designs.

To launch the brand, limited runs of branded shirt designs were printed and then dyed in various color ways.
